I felt like making a tall tinnie this time, and this is one of them.
This was a standard soup can, sanded, gessoed, and painted with titanium buff acrylic, with three little wooden button feet added. I had a roll of fibre that matched the paint, so I glued it around the middle of the can. The borders are something I saw at the craft store last week and wanted to try They are self-adhesive, around an inch wide, and come in several colors.
Then I sewed a rosette in matching colors, using ribbons from my stash, and found a gold button that looks like the center of a flower to add to it. The rosette sits on top of the can like a lid.
I attached a bunch of tiny tags to the handle. They can be left there as decoration or remove for use in other projects.

This is absolutely incredible!! I am just amazed at not just your talent, but your ability to take a "nothing" like a soup can and create this piece of art!!
Love the tinnie and the color. Great job.
