Tall Tinnie
I felt like making a tall tinnie this time, and this is one of them.
This was a standard soup can, sanded, gessoed, and painted with titanium buff acrylic, with three little wooden button feet added. I had a roll of fibre that matched the paint, so I glued it around the middle of the can. The borders are something I saw at the craft store last week and wanted to try They are self-adhesive, around an inch wide, and come in several colors.
Then I sewed a rosette in matching colors, using ribbons from my stash, and found a gold button that looks like the center of a flower to add to it. The rosette sits on top of the can like a lid.
I attached a bunch of tiny tags to the handle. They can be left there as decoration or remove for use in other projects.

Jill's and Chantal's Cartons
I'm a little late in posting this, but both Jill and Chantal reported received their cartons safely. Will all four of the cartons sent at their destinations, I'm looking forward to seeing the posts about them on the participants' blogs. I'll add the links to their posts here as soon as they have been sent to me.
One World - One Heart Giveaway
Yesterday my mailbox was full of messages about a project called "One World - One Heart". After taking I look, I decided to participate by offering a giveaway, too.
I've made two sets of three crossover cards. Each of the pouches contains a blank note card.
The basic idea is that if you'd like these items, you leave a comment on this message, and on 14th February, Valentine's Day, I draw a winner, in whatever way I see fit, from among the people who leave a comment. I'll be picking two winners, and each will receive one of the card sets.

10th February - Additional giveaways
I'm bowled over by the number of people who would like to win these cards, so I've had a think and decided to add three more sets. I have a Pay It Forward on my other art blog, Art Angelix, that seems to have passed unnoticed, so... come Valentine's Day, I'll choose three additional winners and declare them to the winners of my PIF obligation.
